Hi, I'm currently working on a LMIA closed work-permit
My employer recently sold his business and the new owner took handover everything including myself under the same condition of LMIA. (only the ownership was changed)
After a couple month, the new owner changed her mind to reduce my working hour, so my agent reported service Canada and they received the email that I have to get a new LMIA regarding to the material change.
Since I'm not really sure if my new owner will provide me a new LMIA ... I have some serious concerns ;
1. Do I have to stop working as soon as my new owner decide to not provide me a new LMIA?
2. If I have to find another LMIA job, do I have to wait as a jobless until LMIA and Work permit approved?
3. Do I still need to get the new LMIA if my new owner decide to keep the original contract with the original working hour?
Thank you.
