What is the process for LMIA background checks and the reference inquiries? Im currently on a Working Holiday Visa (US Citizen) and work as Medical Administrative Assistant NOC 1214 with the title of Occupational Coordinator.
My employer says they want to do an LMIA for me however Im not sure what the likelihood is that it will be approved given the surplus of Admin Assistants.
In the event that an LMIA is approved, how intensive is the reference check process by the Immigrations Canada and what exactly would they be looking into when I apply for the LMIA permit? Will they require me to submit my resume? I ask this because on the resume I used to apply for my current job I did not provide accurate dates and also included some job titles that cant really be verified (jobs from overseas in my home country - Iraq)
