I hold H1b and also PR of Canada. I wanted to ask my employer to let me work from Canada with below arrangement. Anyone here doing the same, please reply and let me know if this is okay or any changes needed.
1. Will work 3 weeks a month from Canada and 1 week a month in US. [Monday in, Friday out -- only Tue,Wed,Thurs lost for Canadian physical presence per month)
2. Will maintain a shared apartment in the US, that I will also be living in for that 1 week everymonth and the address will be used in US payroll.
3. Family will be llving in Canada full time and hence will deny Health insurance for them as they wont be in teh US.
All my entries into the US will be on H1B still. Also, did any of you face issues as you were working 3 weeks from outside the contry every month?
