Live-in caregiver wants to go school ( urgent )

Can a caregiver attended an adult night class to upgrade herself in English and other subjects while after putting in her application for a PR ? I won't be getting my first approval until October but want to register for adult nigth class by september . I know caregiver can take a course but what is our limit since we can't attend college or university ?

You are allowed to take courses shorter than 6 months in length without getting a study permit, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/faq/work/caregiver-faq01.asp

Which courses are non credit courses ? All i wanna do is just upgrade my knowledge in english and other subjects as i'm having problem helping my employer's kids with their homeworks. Do I need study permit to Attend a night school even tho the course is just going to last 3 month ? Do caregivers go for upgrading ?

A credit course would be a course that is a part of a college program and is giving you credits towards that program.

A 3 month English course is not a credit course and you do not need a study permit for it as it is shorter than 6 months.
