Live-in Caregiver visa processing times in New Delhi

We are recruiting a live-in caregiver (Nanny to support take care of my kid) from Chennai, India. She will be applying for visa at VFS Chennai office, will be attaching the LCP from Canada.

Like to know the processing time for Live-in caregiver visa in New Delhi, India.

Following page shows “Final Decision”42 months. I couldn't believe it. Is this the max timeline in worst case scenario?

Visa Office Processing Times IN MONTHS
Chandigarh - India 37 months
New Delhi - India 2 months

Hi,

We too have applied for a live-in caregiver from India. We received a notice mentioning that it would take 42 months at the New Delhi office. This doens't make any sense because our son will have grown up by then and will be able to take care of many things by himself.

Anyone else in a similar situation? What are the processing times for New Delhi?
