Live In Caregiver PR Application

My caregiver's application for PR was sent last week. How long doe she have to wait till she gets an acknowledgment? Can she leave Canada before that?

It might take 3-6 months for acknowledgment , it will take 12months for Approval in Principle and 15 months for PR.

You wont receive an acknowledgement letter but you Will be able to log into your Ecas by 3-6 mths . If you can not log into Ecas after 7 months, that shows the problèm we all are having with CIC , they are effing delaying everybody but i Know we Will get there even if it now takes them 2 years for AIP .

we've got the same situation..im a bit confuse why some get their acknowledgement letter in just 3 months while ours are not.

yup...it makes me wonder why i couldn't log in at e-cas till now...but i guess there are many of us right?wonder when will i ever see mine in e-cas....

Hi,

Want to know what is the next step after completion of 24-month LCP contract. I know about the PR application, how about the OWP? Where can I get the application for OWP? Is it the same in applying for PR? And after the contract, what status am I? Can I immediately apply work in any establishment? Can I move out of my employer's house immediately? Or will I still continue the Program until I receive OWP?

Just confused. Thank you
