My wife is a Canadian (non-resident). We're visiting Canada shortly and are unsure about the limitations on the maximum allowed values of personal belongings:
- What's the maximum value of personal belongings (e.g. jewellery, watches) for my wife (a citizen, non-resident) and myself (a visitor)?
- Does this limit include cash or they're counted separately?
- Does this limit calculated as a family or it is counted individually?
- Would there be tax implied to any personal belongings my wife carries if she's non-resident?
