Congrats! Most likely you benefited from an administrative error, and your app somehow skipped to the front of the line so was opened and started processing WAY earlier than it should have.
Perhaps it was a brand new visa officer there or something... but whatever the reason consider yourself incredibly lucky!

wow lucky you. Congrats. Just shows that they can work fast but they dont.

OT: Since the Buffalo VO is closed does anyone know where CPC-M is sending applications to sponsor Americans?

Case processing pilot Ottawa or aka "CPP-O".

Wow CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That is so great! we debated and debated... Outland Lima vs Inland... but chose Inland being that we could stay together and he could hopefully work faster than waiting the suggested 15 months! Now I am curious... lol not that I feel like filing out another stash of documents...

Wow Congrats.... But it will really suck for a bunch of couples if it's admin error, and the officer is picking files from latest to oldest...

Hi, I'm sorry, I don't mean to be skeptical but how did this happen for you? Its great, but I submitted my sponsorship for my peruvian wife (from Canada) to Miss in August 2012 they processed it in October - Got the letter from Miss on Oct 31st, 2012 that papers are going to Lima now; Got confirmation that papers arrived in Lima on Jan 22, 2013 (I dont know why it took almost 3 months for papers to be sent to Lima) and now we are waiting for Lima to call my wife hopefully! WTF?? Its great for you, but how unfair is that to ppl like us? The waiting time is 16 months in Lima - is there anything you're not telling us? I would really like to know as we are obviously very anxious....thank you..
