Hey guys I am hoping you are able to help me out!!! My husband has been asked for submit his medical exam, upon reading the information he will need to have a Ontario license. Currently he still has his American license. Can anyone let me know if he will have to change this prior to his appt.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about a driver's license? That has nothing to do with getting a medical.

No I know it doesn’t, but they are asking for government ID - he only has his drivers license and American passport. So I was just asking so it doesn’t prohibit us from getting the medical completed.

I believe they are asking for his American gov't ID, so his passport is what he needs. If he's here as a visitor he can't get any CDN gov't ID.

Ohio and we live in Ontario

Ok. The reason I ask is because I am from New Jersey and when I had to switch my license they had me running all over the place simply because New Jersey doesn’t share driving records with Ontario. But In your case Ohio definitely does so all your spouse needs to do is get a drivers abstract from his state and everything will be fine it will be very quick and easy. Also there was a 90-100 dollar fee for the exchange ! Good luck!
