Hello everyone.

The lleters that we must attach to our application must include what kind of information. What exactly are these letters called?

I've received a few letters from a few family members and a few friends.

If i wanted to find a rough draft on google, how would i exactly look for it. Is it a letter of appreciation?

Thanks for the help.

Here is part of a letter I wrote to friends and family asking for their letters of support (or statutory declarations). I would be happy to PM you the entire letter. I've posted it several times on the forum so if you poke around you may also run across it.

General information to consider including in your message (this can be written in French or in English, by the way)...

1. A description of how you know either one of us (typically the person you knew first)...examples
I am a friend of XXX, I was a co-worker of XXX, I am the sister of XXX, etc

2. A description of how you became aware of our relationship, when you met the other partner, activities we participated in together, etc

3. A statement to the effect that, in your judgement, we are in a real, loving, ongoing, genuine (you choose the words) relationship based on your personal knowledge and experiences

I borrowed Allison's format and sent that type of email to my friends and family and they followed that.

Send them Allison's type of request. You don't want to be too specific, because you don't want all the letters to look the same. If they are too similar, it will look like you wrote them yourself or told people what to say.
A mix of affidavits, letters, and emails is fine.
