Hi guys,

This may be a unique question. I work for a government research project. The employment letter I sent with my application was signed by my supervisor on the research project's letterhead. The letterhead names the Government Agency, but has a different logo (the project logo) and address than that of the headoffice of the agency itself.

Is this okay (since the name of the agency is on the letterhead)? Or should I also try to get a letter from the corporate head office, in which case I would then have two letters with different addresses and different logos?

no worries, that's fine!

Thanks jes_ON. Just to clarify, I am employed by and paid by the government agency to work on the research project. The research project does state the name of the agency in the letterhead. Just has a different logo and address.

I understand, we have the same kind of letterhead where I work ... :) Since it's government, it'll be easy enough to figure out whether it's real or fake :)

Thanks! It's a relief to know I'm not the only one. It's the government, so our office isn't allowed to use agency letterheads, and my supervisor is really the only one that can verify my duties.

Fingers crossed....
