Hello,

I had a question in mind and it is that, should I attach a personally written letter to the visa officer (along with other documents ofcourse), clearly and categorically mentioning the reasons why I will definitely come back to my home country of Pakistan after my stated stay in Canada? Or do you think it would be a bad idea?

Please help!
Thank you.

I think this is a great idea, we did it, and my fiancee got her visa. Not sure if it helped, but it could.

I agree.

Good idea.

While its a recommended and communication etiquette wise good thing to do.... My wife & I also attached a very very detailed letter with support from high ups in the Indian govt etc., but I don't think it works. My feeling is VO see the forms as robots and then use a coin to decide whether they should deny the visa.

Sorry to sound negative, but I am amazed with how my case has been rejected. You can see the details of my documentation on my thread. All the best with the app. Hope you get the visa!

I know.. It was frustrating for my parents when they were denied despite the fact they have letters from their offices..
