Hello to everyone. I have a question. I had a job early in 2017 for aprox. 4/5 months and I'm trying to get the letter of experience and I had no response so far from then (I call them and send them e-mails). My question is it's completely necessary the letter or with the T4 and all my paytubs (with hours worked and hourly wage) is enough?
I really don't want to deal with this situation in wich they are not willing to help me.

The employer letter is important, it should confirm your job title, duties and salary. T4s and paystubs won't be sufficient. The only alternative I have seen mentioned on this forum is by a former supervisor or manager swearing an affidavit regarding the employment undertaken.

T4, paystub - those are supporting documents, they can prove wages/earnings and hours worked, but you need more. The main document is the letter, which must describe your job duties and responsibilities - this enables IRCC to determine whether or not your work experience was skilled.

If you CANNOT get the letter, you need to write a letter of explanation and provide proof (e.g document your efforts to get one, and your employer's lack of cooperation). Then you need to provide alternative documentation of your job duties and responsibilities. A written job description or contract; a letter from a former colleague, manager, or customer, etc.

You should also request a Record of Employment from Service Canada which will show your official dates of employment (as well as pay information) and contact info of your former employer.

Thank you very much for you answer. I got a letter of experience from my old employer but it's not what I asked for because it soesn't have all the information needed. I already ask for another one (I wrote it following the one that I have from my current job) and I'm waiting for a response.
What can I do if they never answer me again(it took a long time to get the first one) or they don't want to sign the new one? Should I still use the first one and upload a letter of explanation or I shouldn't use it at all?
