Hi All,

My wife received the dreaded interview letter today. Interview date is TBD.

CIC have asked her for some supporting documents for the interview, including a letter of no objection from her child's father.

I would love to hear what others did for the letter of no objection in their applications. Is there a template that CIC expects?

Any tips would be appreciated!

Thanks

I only found it by googling procedures for taking kids overseas....I don't think it's a very conspicuous form on cic website!
Hope all goes well for you. I'm keen to know about the interview, particularly in relation to dependent child.

I'll provide updates on the interview. Could be a while though :(

I wonder if it's advisable to bring the child to the interview? Maybe score some brownie points with the VO? lol

There is a thread somewhere on here about questions they ask during an interview and there were a few having to do with children. Given the high concern they're bound to have about people taking their kids out their "home" country illegally, I'd definitely get this aspect really squared away in your mind! I wouldn't want to get caught off-guard by a question about the kid(s) and then look like I'm being dodgy when I try to answer.

Thanks. I'll look for that thread.
