Nope!

you apply for the study permit and the embassy issues you the LOI

you present the LOI to the CBSA agent when you land in Canada and he/she assess you for entry into canada and issues you study permit if he/she is satisfied

Dear All,

I have one question is that , for those who received LOI , they don't want to take Canada Visa or they must, some people said that with this LOI, student can travel and just they need to show this letter along with the documents required to the Canada Immigration officer and after asking some question, they will provide Study Permit. Please advise.
