Hi everyone! I need your help please. I got an ITA and applying through CEC. I am currently working as an IT consultant with an Ontario employer and placed with one of their clients also in Ontario. However, I am still working remotely from Montréal. I was supposed to move earlier to start working on the hybrid mode, but the client management suddenly decided to sell their business in Canada and said that all our team will have to leave by the end of the year. Thus, I am waiting to finish my placement with the current client to get placed with another one which I don’t know yet. I don’t want to move outside Quebec now because it will be a hustle for me if I take a residence then discover that the office of the new client is faraway from my place. As you know, relocation is very time and energy consuming. Also I will get in trouble if I sign a long term lease. What’s your advice regarding that? I wrote a LOE to explain my situation and that I intend to move after I know the location of the new client. Is that enough? Is there something else I can do? Will it be helpful if I attach an email as an evidence that I was going to move before the client suddenly announced selling their business?
I appreciate your help
