Hello Friends,

I had a degree and work experience from my home country. I didn't do ECA and I dont have reference letter. I did not claim points on them.
Is it ok that I just write a letter to explain? Does anyone have a format?
thanks

As far as I know, you don't need to explain anything if you don't claim points for education/experience. Just make sure you mention them in your personal history and don't write anything about it in education/work experience section.

Are you apply as a FSW or any other class, because as far as i know Educational credentials are essential. I could be wrong though

As FSW. Frankly, I had all my credentials evaluated, thus I don't have such problem, but what I wrote was what I read here, in this forum.

You dont need explain if you dont have a deree, there is a big topic about this: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/express-entry-without-ecaeca-problemplease-help-t400011.0.html
