I would like to tell me if Letter of explanation or Study Plan or Statement of Purpose are the same?

I have noticed that the site asks for Letter of explanation only (It is the 4th one from the list of documents)!!!

What are the others one that i read from the forum?

1. Do not use CIC website as a student visa checklist. Always refer your country's CHC website.
