Hi all, doing my PR application right now under the Canadian Experience Class stream under Express Entry. Wanted a bit of clarification on what the Letter of Employment is. So far after doing research this appears indistinguishable from the "Employment Records" (an employment reference letter with details of position). Better still, there is no information whatsoever on what the "Letter of Employment" is on the application form or on the CIC website.

Anyhow, what's the difference between these two documents?

Also, do I need to include employment records for every previous position? Or just the ones that count towards skilled work experience (I've only listed 1 job under my "work history", but there are other student/co-op jobs as well that don't count towards anything in my "personal history")?

Letter of employment, is the letter you take from your manager/hr for the job which has all the specified information include code job duties number of hr per week and annual salary.
employment record is, t4, noa and letter of employment attach together.

in personal history mention all the complete details include employement, unemployement student life with no gaps from 18 years of age or past 10 years, which ever applies for you

Letter of employment = letter of reference = experience letter (it's the older term).

Employment records = supporting documentation (e.g. T4, NOA, Record of Employment, contract, etc).

See "Proof of work experience" here for requirements -
