Hey guys,
I am currently in Canada on implied status. I received ITA today and have a question about document checklist. It says I need following documents: Offer of Employment, Employment Records and Letter of Employment. I have first two. As far as I understand the third one is the one that confirming that I am working for that company. But I can't provide it because I am not supposed to officially work yet (I got no work permit). What can I do in this case?

Did you ever find out? I just got my ITA, and have the same requirements.

I don't start my job for a few weeks, and I dont know how this letter is different from the offer letter.

You cannot qualify for EE without previous work experience. For each and every position you listed in your profile, you need to provide a letter of employment - it is the primary piece of evidence that is required. It addresses only past work experience.

Please read the instructions under "Proof of Work Experience" - the "reference or experience letter" (AKA Letter of employment) has a number of required pieces of information -
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

"Employment records" are additional documents that prove your work experience (e.g. T4 or equivalent tax documents, paystubs, contracts, etc.).

The job offer letter is only required if you have the 600 bonus points for an LMIA-approved "valid job offer."
