Hey guys,
I'm just about done, tying up the final end pieces to it all. I just am trying to out together a "letter of employment" that I need as I am the SPONSOR to my husband that my boss is going to sign. I am not on a Salaried position, nor do I have set hours per week. I am not sure what details I need to supply or if I can be too vague...
"BLANK was hired at BLANK on May 14th, 2014. She was hired indefinitely as a Full-time Server. BLANK has just completed her server training and has requested full time hours. We also have the intention of grooming Erin for a leadership position at BLANK, which could lead to a Salaried Management position."
Is this too vague. Servers wage in BC is $9.00/hr (which is disgusting) and no one can even calculate what tips you will make per shift, obviously. I don't have a set schedule per week... the serving industry is sort of a gamble, so I can't really write this without being confusing or sounding like an idiot. I'm not sure what to do other than indicate that I am working full time, and that I am being considered and conditioned for leadership roles at my job, which could be salaried, depending on high up I go.
Please help. I really cannot wait until this is over. Stressing me out.
Erin and Danny
