The letter from Employer comes from the employer. So you have to get his employer to write a letter stating that he is employed and his salary.

When I asked for the letter.. The secretary already had a basic letter made up.. she just Changed the name, Salary, hours/week and date and handed it to me... took no more than 1 minute.

Here what's I draft up and had my boss sign it.

To whom it may concern:

Please accept this letter as confirmation that [your name] has been employed with [company name] since October 1999 and on a full time bases. Currently,[your name]:
• holds the title of [job description]
• earns a salary of $xxxxxx plus commission payable bi-weekly
• works on a fulltime basis of 40 hours per week
If you have any questions or require further information, please don't hesitate to contact me at [company phone number]

Sincerely yours,

[manager's name]

im just wondering do you think its all right if I leave the wage blank $_______per hour so that he can fill it in. I actually dont know what im going to be making yet or my position tittle.

also did anyone put a letter in with company letterheads? is it necessary?

I had issues with this actually. I have two employers, both on call casual. One of them was able to write one for me. She wrote my name, what my job title is, how much I make on the basis that I work and her e-mail address. She also signed it (which is important).
HOWEVER. My other job said because I am casual, they cannot issue me a letter, so, I just printed up the letter of job acceptance I received via e-mail and included it. I've been told that usually is okay. Just in case your boss isn't able to sign it or anything. But it needs to be as accurate as possible.

It's better that the letter is printed on company's letterhead. As to whether you fill out your salary or your employer, it doesn't matter. As long as that information is there.

Did anyone put the address of vegreville on the letter or the address of the business you work for or both?
