I am 2012 applicant under spousal sponsorship, interview held on 5th Dec 2013, and the VO told after the interview that she is satisfied with our

marriage. As my medicals expired in Sep 2013 they are going to send a letter for re medicals but till date i have not received any thing from VO.

I am very much worried because of this undue delay as i am pregnant and it is of 5 months if i do not get visa within a month or two what will be my

fate. And what is the procedure to be followed if i delivered in my home country please help me in this matter Mr. Leon and i am very anxious.

You can't do a full medical exam if you are pregnant, since you aren't supposed to get x-rays as it could harm the fetus.

Most likely you'll need to wait until you give birth, then re-take the medical.
If the father is not able to pass Canadian citizenship to the baby, then the baby will need to be added to the application as a dependent.

thanks RobTo can you please tell what is the procedure to include the born child. Whether we should apply for his passport or just include his name

in mother's passport and how much time consuming it is and for your information i am in India.

If the father can pass along citizenship and the baby will already be Canadian at birth in India, then it's relatively quick and easy as you just need to declare the baby as new family member, but since is already Canadian there is no need to include as a dependent.

If baby is not Canadian at birth, then you need to update the PR application to list baby as your dependent, and they will need to process child for PR as well.

All this is done by notifying your visa office after you give birth.

I do think that he has to list the Canadian baby as dependent in the application if baby arrives before he lands. Even though the baby is not being sponsored, still needs to be listed in the COPR. Otherwise it is considered misrepresentation by leaving out dependents from COPR.

I had to list my 2 kids born outside Canada but are Canadian by descent in the spousal application and I think they are listed in the COPR if I'm not mistaken.

SCREECH339 THANK YOU BUT I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE TO ADD THE CHILD BORN OUTSIDE CANADA WHEN THE MOTHER'S

APPLICATION FOR SPONSORSHIP IS PENDING AFTER THE INTERVIEW HELD ON 5TH DEC 2013.

WHERE ARE YOU MR. LEON WAITING FOR YOUR GUIDANCE.

WHERE ARE YOU MR. LEON WAITING FOR YOUR GUIDANCE.

Complete additional family form IMM5406 adding the new child under section B CHILDREN.

Also complete IMM5481 sponsorship evaluation under 6 B) by adding 1 and list the child's name further down the same page.

Resubmit these two forms to CIC again, letting them know of the change in your situation and need to add child to the list.

This is under the assumption that the child is canadian by descent.

If the child will not be canadian by descent, you have to add the child to be sponsored as PR. You would have to resubmit some forms to reflect this additional PR.

baba1234 - If you're only accepting one person's opinion, why don't you send Leon a private message? That way he will have the opportunity to answer you.

Leon is usually found in the Settlement Topics section now a days. You can usually locate him in the PR / Citizenship threads. However, if you post this thread there, I am sure you will be told this is a matter for the family sponsorship thread, therefore you might just have to consider that someone other than Leon can be helpful enough to answer your question.
