I am about to apply for my citizenship around mid-June. I just realized that in the martial status there are only a few options which none would suitable for my situation. Can anyone provide me with advise on this?

I applied for BCPNP on June.2010 and became permanent resident on Feb. 2012.
When I submit my PNP application, I also include my common law partner at the time as my accompany family member and we both landed on the same date.

Somehow on Jan. 2013 we decided to broke up and did not see each other since then. I am not even sure if she is still in Canada. We did not sign any legal paper for separation and we also do not have any child together.

Would this effect my application? Should I choose legally separated? If I choose common-law just to be safe, will this impact for my future sponsorship application?

Thank you

Pre-Assessed..
Legal separation is only available if you are married. Since your Common-Law relationship has ended, you are now single.
