What do you need to know? If you post questions, people can help.
Questions
1) Cost of making the will and POA
2) Where did you get this done?
3) Is there any difference between the online services which create this vs a lawyer

Thanks

1. The cost all depends on the complexity. For a simple will, $300.
2. Law office.
3. If you have any funds, property in your home country, ensure that the will be both valid in Canada and you home country.

1. Anywhere from $150 to $1,000, depending on the level of service you need.
2. I did mine online; however, there are plenty of law firms who offer these services
3. It depends on how complex your personal situation is. If it's straightforward, then online services are fine.

The price that lady gave you is insane, and I don't see any reason to put such high prices. In the end, it's just some papers that are mostly filled with your information. The Last Will and Testament my family made was pretty affordable. I don't remember for sure, but it was less than a grand. I think you can find some good options on the market. But, remember, the best offers aren't on the top list on google or any other browses. Some good platforms even have online consulting options to ease your work and save you money.
Stop spamming. This is a US law firm and so this information useless here.

The fact this law firm has to restort to spamming makes me think that Southwest Portland Law Group is bad at what they do and cannot rely on customer referrals to generate business. Sounds like a law firm with bad services that people would want to stay away from.

To be honest, I don't quite understand the point of your question. You can draw up a will using any law firm, even a private one. The price will accordingly depend on the firm you choose. What about estate planning? Do you want to buy this or what? If so, you can look here https://www.playarealestategroup.com. Maybe you will find something appropriate. The offers look pretty good. Or do you want to bequeath real estate to a relative? In any case, you will need to consult a lawyer.

Then don't bother to reply. Every law firm is a private company.
