Good day all,
I am applying to sponsor my American common-law partner for permanent residency. She is living with me in Canada, but does not have a temporary visitors visa, since she has a U.S. passport and she is allowed to legally stay here for 6 months. Would her legal status in Canada still be considered a "Visitor," even though she does not have a visitor visa? If so, what documentation should be provided to prove her legal status without a visa?
Thank you very much!
