I would like to change my legal first name, apparently I can do it in the province I'm in while on my work permit, which is great. I'm just wondering if it will cause an issue in the processing of my PR application (in-land), I'm 2 months post AOR and have already passed medicals and biometrics.
Obviously I will notify IRCC once I change my name. Should I proceed with it or wait for my PR to be issued first just to be on the safe side?
