Legal eligibility for work

Hi,

I am currently on a closed work permit (expiry in June), and am applying for jobs. In the website, the following question is asked :

"Are you legally eligible to work in the country that you are applying to?" The options available are yes/no.

How should I answer? What is the justification (in case the hr asks)

You should answer no since you don't hold an open work permit and aren't eligible to work for another employer with the work permit you hold now.
