Has anyone any info about this Canadian "task force" sent to Lebanon to help with the crisis there? There's conflicting rumors about the government expediting files since much of Beirut has been declared a "disaster zone".

Has anyone any info about this Canadian "task force" sent to Lebanon to help with the crisis there? There's conflicting rumors about the government expediting files since much of Beirut has been declared a "disaster zone".

There's an announcement on the IRCC site that was posted a week or two ago but it's vague on details. The task force seems like it will be supporting the delivery consular services but not sure if that also includes "expediting".
