Leaving Canada with husband after exclusion and applying for outland sponsorship

My boyfriend came to Canada 2015 on tourist visa he overstayed 3 years we got a dog ,apartment , moved a couple times. The dog ended up chewing his passport and we didn't know what to do in fear He would have to leave. He eventually got caught by cbsa and got an exclusion order. I'm a Canadian citenzen and he is a citenzen of Spain. We applied for the marriage lisence and I'm planning on marrying him and then leaving with him to go live in Spain for the 1 year of his exclusion order. I was told I could do outland sponsorship. I'm 23 and he's 25 Im just trying to make sense of all of this. Any info would be great. Thank you

There is no point in applying for sponsorship until the exclusion order is up. Apply once the one year is done.
