Hello everyone,

I need your insights regarding this matter:

I've submitted my complete application to IRCC on Dec 5th (including PCC from my home country). Now, what concerns me is, I left Canada in the same day for a 35 days vacation on my home country.
I believe the PCC I've submitted is only valid until Dec 5th because I left Canada to home country at the occasion.

Question 1: Should I obtain and submit a new PCC while my application is in progress or wait until / if IRCC requests an update from me?

*My current background check status is: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Question 2 (somehow related): I've read in this forum that a common cause for rejection is the PCC being submitted in black and white. Point is, my country issues PCC online and they are generated in b/w, I don't think there's much I can do about it. Any suggestions? Will that be a problem?

I appreciate all the help!

1 - No, the PCC you submitted is fine.

2 - No issue.

Doesn't it become invalid when we return to the country? I mean, the document was submitted before I last visited. Thought it should cover the most recent visit as well

As long as it is valid when you submit your e-APR it doesn't matter if you visit such country afterwards.
