Hi guys,

I am an international full time student at George Brown college ( Toronto) ,and will graduate in April 2013; however my study permit is valid until July 2013. I plan to apply for the -Canadian Working Experience Class - Work Permit after graduation then return to my home country for a short vacation.
I intend to go back to Canada before my Study Permit and Student Visa expires ( Both at 30 July 2013)

My Question is: Can I return to my country while my working permit being processed in Canada?

I am looking forward to hearing from you guys
Thank you

Yes, you can go to your home country.
But make sure that you come back within the expiry of your Study Permit and TRV.
IO at the airport may ask the reason for your entry. So, if you can job offer or current employment letter , then you can show them.

Good Luck.

Thank you very much

I was really concerned that applying for the PG Permit would invalidate my Study Permit and Student Visa when I return to Canada from my vacation.

I'm sure about it.
But please consult other members too.

Thank you
I have another question : Can I Leave and return to Canada 2 months before expiry date on my Visa and Study Permit ?

I was in the same situation as yours. I left canada after i applied for my post grad work permit. When i came back my study permit was still valid and I still had not got my work permit.
The Immigration officer asked me for my reason to come back as I had already completed my studies. Luckily before I left I had a job offer. I showed him my offer of employment and he was convinced.
It really varies from case to case and also on the immigration officer at the port of entry.

Thank guys! :D
about Post Grad WP , Do we have to apply for new visa after recieving the permit ,or the officer will give you your permit and new visa at the same time ?
