I think knowing both languages is a plus in Canada. My friend who landed 3 months ago, explained to me that he is doing a cal centre job and he earns 10 dollars an hour,because he speaks only English and he said for someone who speak both languages earns between from 12 and above depending on the company.

I've lived in Canada. Job-wise, knowing French is always a plus (I lived in Ontario). French is an official language, so even if it's not technically used much by the people of a province (say, Ontario), it's always going to be important and mandatory in all official communication. So it definitely opens doors.

Now, socially, if you live in an English-speaking province, you may not even ever hear French (it's more likely you'll hear Chinese). But job-wise, definitely good to have. Plus, French is a gorgeous language. ;D

It all depends on your interest in learning to language. Most often it is easy for women to learn a language than men. it is only my opinion It depends also, if you live in a country where the language is used. This is because language is communication. The more often you use it the better and makes the learning easier.

It can take from 6 months depending also on the level you with to attend.

The most amount of Chinese immigrants? Probably British Columbia, in Vancouver. But you also get many many Chinese people in Toronto, Ontario - I used to hear Chinese spoken all the time. And they have Little China in Toronto, a Chinese neighbourhood with street signs in Chinese. ;D

If you speak English, French AND Chinese, I think your chances of finding a good job will be excellent!
