I want to give my sincere Thanks to this Community which helped me a lot during my PR journey from Application Received to see the final Status turned to – Completed.

Application Sent – 20 April 2013 and Received at Sydney – 25 April 2013
AOR – 10 June 2013 (ECAS – Application Received)
Medical – Upfront (ECAS – Medical Received)
Bio Data / RRPF – 10 Dec 2013 (ECAS – Application in Process)
Passport Request – 10 Jan 2014 and Received Back – 22 Jan 2014 (ECAS – Decision Made)
Landed – 26 Jan 2014 and Current Status on ECAS is – Completed

Also, just want to share some key learning.

NOC Code – I learnt that NOC code plays important role in application processing and it seems its demand based, so if CIC feels that this NOC is in demand or something they usually process those applicant faster to meet the demand.

Communication with CIC – Most of the people have issues that CIC is not replying to their E-mails. By understanding that they are processing huge number of applicants and replying so many E-mails. Please expect a delay in that, sometime I got a reply for my queries even after 1 Months, So there is always a hope. And GCMS notes are the key in your hand. Apply for the Notes when you feel uncomfortable.

And Finally Patience – I think this is Key, Just be patience, Calm and Cool, I understand that sometime you feel that the applicants who applied after you is processed and even the applicants along with you is moving faster, But the real truth is this is , That this is something you cannot control, The key is with CIC so don’t give hard time to yourself. 

I am looking forward to provide my support to the future applicants and wish their success for their Dream to come true.

Regards’

Hi - Just wait untill you got your AOR , Get a Copy of your AOR as it has file number and client ID .
Visit any on CIC panel doctor and ask that you want to go for upfront medical.

Just make sure doctor is e-medical enabled for faster processing.

Let me know if you need more info.
