Lawyer Advice

Dear experts,

I will apply as a FSW as a Petroleum engineer. Got a MSc from USA and have been working in oil industry for 4 years. I am about to hire a lawyer and shortlisted Cohen and Jacqueline Bart. Having talked to them services offered are pretty much same but there is a big price difference. I was asked to pay ±4000 USD upfront to get an express entry profile in the system and thought this money above the roof!

I am aware that topic is discussed in various places in the forum (being old discussions). Apologize for creating again.

I would like to seek your thoughts on hiring a lawyer especially from whom hired Cohen or Bart already and working on the case. Reliability, support, clear strategy, price schedule are my criterias.

4000$ is a rip off. Try to reach out to David Cohen. I have couple of friends who have signed up with him and charging ~2000$ Canadian.

You may want to read the EE threads on this forum and maybe you will not require any lawyers. The registration process is pretty simple and straight forward.

Why do you want to you use a consultant? They do not increase your chances of being selected. You can do it your self. First thing is to get your degree evaluated with WES. Secondly you need to write IELTS exam with British Council. Once you have your evaluation report and IELTS score you can then create your profile for EE on CIC website. You will be among the pool for draw that will be done
