Hello!

I know that with my MPNP application, I was excluded from undergoing a language test since I am a native English speaker (only living in the US, and never even learning another language). I had to provide a copy of my high school and college diploma with transcripts in English (wasn't hard since thats the only language they come in). NOW I am trying to complete the Permanent Residency application, and am confused with the language testing section (#12 - Proof of Language Proficiency). I cannot find anything that states if I have or do not have to take a language proficiency exam, due to the fact that I am American who only speaks English.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

If you have received your MPNP certificate, and the job is not unskilled or semi-skilled, then you don't have to take the language test. See the checklist for the Federal portion of your application.
