Hello, i am planing to apply for immigration in federal skilled worker program starting in may 2013, i have appeared in ielts GT 23march 2013 and my results are

Writing 7.0
Listening 7.0
Reading 6.5
Speaking 5.5

Overall Average 6.5

Can i apply for immigration or not with these results? Plz help me with my results, thanks

no, because u have to score minimum 6 in each section.. U will have to retake the exam..

But in cic.gc website it says clb 7 is required which coresponds to ielts 6.0, its not written that minimum or max on their official website

These are the old / current rules. New language requirements are being released for the May 4th FSW applications. You will need to take IELTS again to qualify. The 5.5 score is too low.

no, all four categories need to be at least a '6'. must improve your speaking to qualify
