Language Requirement and LOA Condition

Dear Friends,

My IELTS overall score is 7.0 with all bands not less than 6.0. Based on that language proficiency, I got an offer from Northern Lights College. But in the final LOA after payment, the following condition is given since my writing band is 6.0

"Acceptance is subject to the requirement to successfully complete ENGL099 with a "B" grade or higher as an additional course during the program's first semester"

This is given as an additional subject to be completed in the first semester

How will this affect the visa process?

It is hard to say, depends on how Visa officer view your situation, in this case your English Language proficiency

You’d have to complete and English course at the school before starting your program. That’s what the school is saying

Actually the said course is not total language course. It contained subjects like Collge Culture, College grading system, College Exam system etc. Will it be ok if I add justification in my SOP ?
