Hello,

I have a query regarding landing. I am a FSW Outland and applied as a single applicant with no accompanying dependents. I am yet to do my landing, so I was wondering if I can go with a family member (provided they apply for and get a temp/tourist visa in advance). Will that be confused as an accompanying dependent as that was not part of my application?

Many thanks

Hi

Travelling with a family member does not make them an accompanying dependent. They won't be landing as a PR and their entry will be completely separate from yours.

No confusion at all because your COPR mentions how many dependents are with you. The CBSA officer verifies this and also interviews you on it at your landing.

But yes, you can go with your accompanying family member with their TRV. Depending on your PoE, they might have to go to a separate line at immigration.
