Landing with my mom, who will be in visitor visa

Hi there,
we have got our PR approved recently. we are family of 3 with myself ,my husband and my kid.
we wish to take our mother with us, since i will be working from day 1 since landing, i need my mom to take care of my kid who is 1 yr old.
Can my moth apply for visitor visa/ grandparents visa and travel with us? will we have any problems in landing because of this?
pls give your advice.

She can apply for a visit visa, but not for the grandparent (Super) visa. The Supervisa requires you to prove your income in Canada, and you won't be able to do that until you move here and start working.

For a visitor visa normally some one needs to be a sponsoring from canada. Since you didnt land till now you or your family cant be sponsors when you are landing. Once you land then only you can apply for visit visa for parents.Regarding Grandparent visa or supervisa you need to have Income tax records for atleast 3 years with more than some specified amount .

In this case you can ask your hus to take care of child until your mothers visit visa is finalized.

If you can find some one relatives who can sponsor your mother before your landing might solve your problem
