MyAmerican husband received his COPR this week. Throughout this process he has been in Canada with me visiting. We are planning on leaving Canada for a weekend in January, visiting family in Oregon (we are in BC) then he will land when we return to Canada.
My question is regarding the accompanying goods and goods to follow forms. He does not have much stuff to begin with so when he initially came up to Canada and cross the border as a visitor, he brought a lot of his stuff with him (clothes, books, etc). He doesn’t have any furniture. Some clothes back in Oregon that he could bring with him. Should we pack some of his stuff out of Canada with us and bring it back in when he lands? What have other people done in the situation their spouse has been a visitor prior to landing?

Thanks in advance!

He should declare this as 'goods accompanying' - he can 'chunk things up', like 'Gents clothes' all on one line with a CAD cash value etc.

No, he should not pack his stuff out. Stuff that is already in Canada doesn't need to be declared. He just needs to list the stuff that is in the US and coming with him at landing or later.
