Hi All,

So I understand that once you do your landing your existing visas get cancelled and it takes about 45 days to get your PR card. In between those dates you can't fly back into Canada unless you get a temporary PR travel visa from the country you are traveling to.

My question is if you need to travel and still need to be in and out of Canada for work but you already have the new PR visa and COPR can you decide when you want to do the landing process and wait for the PR card?
OR
The immigration officer will notice the new PR visa (current work visa still there and valid) and ask you to do the landing process? or ask you why you are no doing it?

Reason is I would need to be traveling and will need to find a suitable date I would be in Canada for 45days to receive the PR card. Applying for the temp PR visa would be a inconvenience since I travel out for work.

Hope anyone who has the experience can share. Thanks
