Hello everyone.

I just got my Cert of PR ;D
I am currently in Canada. I am going on vacation at Christmas and I was planning to do my landing on the way back into the country.
I am legally separated and in my letter of explanation with my application I explained how the divorce was currently with the court system at home for processing but that it would likely be completed in about 6 months.
I've just found out that the hearing date to finalise the divorce will be in December so officially my marital status will change from legally separated to divorced at the stage. The documentation that came with the COPR says that I should notify CIC of any change in my status.
Do you think this will cause an issue? will I need to submit anything else or will having the divorce paperwork with me on landing be enough? If I do the landing before Christmas, then I wont have the PR card in time for my vacation at Christmas.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated :-\

No - this won't be an issue. There's no point telling CIC.
