Landing Interview

Hello All,

I have a question regarding the landing interview.

I applied for PR under FSW program while I was a student in Canada (express entry). My spouse was shown as a dependent but accompanying me to Canada. As a result we provided ielts scores , police verification , medical and full application fees for both of us. Currently she works in india.

I Recently received an invitation for my landing interview in Etobicoke where they asked me to bring my in-Canada dependent.

However she is still in india which is outside Canada. Do I have to bring her as well to the interview.

Or this interview is just for me and she will be notified later. She didn’t receive any letter in her email.

Please note that I stay in Canada and she stays in india currently.

Only primary receives intimation... for wife u can raise cse and explain case and they will ask her to submit passport in india

Thank you Sid 1987. I have a similar opinion. While in the interview I’ll ask them about future proceedings. I have already raised a case specific enquiry through ircc webform and looking forward for their response.

Yup they are pretty flexible about this.. only good part in interview is all sin etc is done on spot

Hello,

I have a new situation. My wife’s visa app which is processed in New Delhi still has no update. I repeatedly contacted cic Canada and they said our application is approved and her application needs to be processed only in New Delhi. I tried to contact New Delhi through cse and mail but no reply. Cic said the case is out of their hands. We just need to wait. It’s been 5 months already and no updates.
