Today we received a letter inviting my husband (my sponsor) and I to a landing meeting to finalize my application for Permanent Residence!! So exciting!
Here is my timeline:
Submitted application December 24 2015
Acknowledgement of Receipt February 11 2016
Work permit issued April 1st 2016
Sponsor approved July 11 2016
Decision Made July 18 2016
Landing interview August 12 2016
As you can tell this has all happened so fast! Thanks to Justin Trudeau and the new government. We were expecting a 26 months wait, instead I will have my PR in 16 days!!! After only 8,5 months!
Anyone else this has happened to?
At least I hope my timeline can be of any help to someone who is still waiting.
