Hello everyone,

I've received my CoPR, deadline is Aug 03. I'm currently residing in Germany and it would cost a lot if I travel to Canada to do the landing/interview, come back here, wait for the card and then move all my stuff.

So, do you guys think doing everything at once is probable? Like book a one-way ticket to Canada, board the flight, land and interview while my cartons are being transported by an international moving company. What's the chance of failing the interview? What happens then?

Thanks for your information and good luck to you all :D!

Btw, here's my timeline:
  • IELTS March 03, 2018, scored 8
  • Personal info submitted May 08 2018, invitation received May 09 2018 (score 478)
  • Documents submitted Aug 07 2018
  • Application approved Jan 25 2019, CoPR Feb 21
  • I'm 26yo, single, never been to Canada, no relatives in Canada, just finished my PhD thesis, 4+ year work experiences

It's not really an interview - so there's no way to fail it. The only reason you would run into issues landing is for a major reason such as being charged with a crime or failing to declare a spouse / common law partner.

It means this won't be a problem then?

Thanks for your reply!
