landing fee refund

Hi, everyone.

I just have a question about the landing fee refund. I was interviewed at the LA consulate in March 2006. I passed the interview and paid the landing fee of around US$800 on the same day.

I got my passport request and visa stamped in May 2006, but I did not get any refund in the mail. Am I entitled to a refund? If I am entitled to one, how do I get it?

Appreciate anyone who can enlighten me on this issue.

I am in the same situation. I was interviewed in February, and Paid the ROLF in May 01, They said will take around 6 weeks to receive refund.

who told you that you can get a refund in 6 months? the consulate? will they mail you the refund to your present address or refund you when you land in canada?
