Just to share my landing experience at Toronto Pearson Airport:
I was directed to a separate room after meeting the officer in the arrival lobby. There was a line of people waiting in front of a few service windows. After about 50 min waiting, it was my turn to register. The office was very cool, did not say hi. I gave my passport and landing confirmation papers to him. He simply asked if the address was my home address, and how much money did I bring with. I told him it's my address, I had 10k in card, 5k cash on hand. Then he asked me to sign on the landing paper and the copy of it. When I was signing, my boyfriend was just next to me and interviewed by another officer. That officer repeat the address of my boyfriend. My officer heard that, asked me "you have same address?", I said " Yes, we have same mailing address. " He asked "what's your relationship", I said" he is my boyfriend." My officer didn't say nothing, just passed me the signed copy of landing paper and said "done." I said "That's it?" He nodded. No more saying.
