Hi All,
My parents got COPR and will be arriving in Toronto as POE in about 2 months. Can you please give me some advice on the following:

1. I applied for sponsorship when was living in BC. Now, in ON. I updated the address on the IRCC website as soon as I left BC. However, my parents' COPR still shows the BC address.
Will this be a problem? Do they need to show any proof of address change as well?

2. What types of questions can my parents expect at the airport by the officer?

3. They are currently in the US visiting family. Would it be OK to land as PR from the US?
OR do they have to fly in from their country of origin?

4. What is the process at the airport? I am hoping to give my parents some idea of what to expect.

I am sorry to be asking all these questions at once. After having waited so long for this, I am hoping the process goes smoothly. Any advice and insight on the final step of this long process will be helpful.

Many thanks in advance.

1. your parents and can provide your current address.....their PR card will be sent to the address....they may explain that their sponsor changed address.

2. no serious questions are asked....don't worry

3. they can enter and land from the US.

4. very simple....they present their COPR to immigration officer who will process their entry and welcome them to Canada.
