Hi, I did my medicals in Jul 2016, while my wife will do her's in Dec 2016. Does this mean that we both have to do our landings by Jul 2017 or is possible for her to do her landing in Dec 2017?

No, the main applicant has to land before the medical expires it's year validity. Dependants can land after the primary.

Ok, thanks. Just to double check, Is it true my wife will have her visa validity till Dec 2017 while I will have it till July 2017 based on our respective medical exam dates?

Visa validity? Do you mean the date with which you can land? If so, yes. If you get approved in June you have to land before the medical test expires in July or get another. Your wife has to land before her medical expires.

I might have recalled reading on the CIC website that it is still based on the principal applicant's medical, for all dependents, even if your spouse took hers later. If someone had a contrary experience, feel free to correct me.

That's interesting. Would you happen to have a reference for this?
